Christopher L. Hall was appointed as Deputy Bank Commissioner in August 2021. Mr. Hall joined the Office of the State Bank Commissioner as a bank examiner in 2007 and was promoted to Chief Bank Examiner in 2015. Mr. Hall supervises the Non-Depository Institutions and Compliance function of the Office of the State Bank Commissioner, including licensing non-bank institutions and resolving consumer complaints, as well as the collection of the bank franchise tax and other administrative functions. Mr. Hall has a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Delaware and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado as well as the Cannon Financial Institute.
